What's with metal on my neck?

A poem I wrote when I locked myself.

There's power in the collar that I wear
A symbol of my strength and my self-care
I am the one who holds the key
And I am the one who sets myself free

I am in control of my own fate
And I won't let anyone else dictate
My collar may be tight and confining
But it's a reminder of the power I'm defining

I choose to wear it on my own neck
And with it comes the courage to take the next step
I am strong and I am brave
And I am the master of my own slave

I will not be held back by fear or clout
For I am the one who locked this collar no doubt
I am the one who holds the power
And I am the one who will rebuild the tower

So here I stand, collar on my neck
A symbol of my strength and my self-respect.
